Our project takes a new and uncommon approach to create music only by interacting with a luminous table interface. The way of creating music was inspired by the work of the Greek composer Iannis Xenakis, who invented a completely new type of music: The stochastic music.
This music is not bounded by a predefined sequence of notes, but is dynamically driven by random. Xenakis himself compared the created music with clouds and galaxies. Using the xenakis table, you can create your very own galaxy.
We do not only promise very much fun creating diversified and unique music, but also an inspiring audiovisual experience!
